Race Categories:

Don’t look for all the usual mountain bike race categories here…  This race is keeping it simple – race, have fun, and do your best!  We plan to break it down by just a couple ability levels and gender.  This will give us an idea if competitive level/ability and aid in breaking out wave starts if needed. In the final results we will have the ability to split them by 5 or 10 year age brackets so if you choose, you can take a scan and see how you compare to those in your specific age range.

For 2012, there is one distance that will end up around 35 miles depending on the final course design.  The course will be very similar to 2011, although a few slight tweaks are expected. We feel it is a great course for trained beginners all the way through experts!
